SCARA ish 3D printer project (2017)

The images you see here is the 3D-printer I made from the corpse of my old 3D-printer, the control board is brock and it is beyond repair, but all the motors still work. So I made my own using polar-coordinate, so it will have a larger build area. Also, I wrote the control for this printer, what the program does is it convert normal G-code output from other slicing software, such as Cura, into angles the for each individual motor, to the arm of the printer will be an certain angle and length so the printhead coordinate corresponds to coordinate in G-code win the XY-plane.

The video you see on the left is me doing some testing the program I wrote. I was trying to make the printer to draw a box.
